Facility Overview
The West Basin Container Terminal (WBCT) – China Shipping has ten berths with a water depth of 53 feet. It encompasses 132 acres. The terminal uses ten post-Panamax cranes for processing one million lifts per year. The terminal is managed through a joint venture with Ports America, Yang Ming, and Costco Shipping which bought China Shipping in 2015. It has on-dock rail connections. The terminal is equipped to handle vessels carrying up to 14,000 TEUs.

- Entrance Requirements
- Individual: All drivers MUST have a TWIC card prior to entry. Drivers MUST go to the In-Gate pedestals to enter the Terminal. And all drivers MUST out gate through pedestal/bobtail out gate lanes
