Facility Overview
SSA Terminal 18 occupies 192 acres in the Port of Seattle’s Harbor Island. The terminal has four berths with a total berthing length of 4,460 linear feet with an alongside depth of 50 feet. It operates ten cranes. Seven are Super post-Panamax and three are post-Panamax, making the terminal one of the largest container facilities in the Pacific Northwest. The terminal can handle 18,000 TEU vessel with support for 1,250 reefer plugs. The terminal has 7,600 feet of on-dock rail tracks and is only minutes from the major trucking lanes.
