Facility Overview
North Carolina’s Port Wilmington is located 26 miles from the ocean along the Cape Fear River. It has two terminals: one for general cargo and one container terminal. Its container berths offer 2,600 linear feet of berthing space with a water depth of 42 feet. The container terminal can process 600,000 TEUs annually using its seven neo- and post-Panamax cranes. The facility has 125 acres of open storage and one million square feet of covered storage. It currently uses 284 acres, but has another 150 acres for development. The port has on-dock rail service through CXS Transportation.

- Individual: Valid Class A CDL, TWIC Card, Medical Card Long Form, and minimum of 2 year experience with class A drivers license
- Vehicles: Trucks must be currently operational (not sitting), street legal (registered and insured), and used to regularly transport cargo to/from a participating port
