Facility Overview
The Long Beach Container Terminal (LBCT) completed its multiphase project in late 2021. The new facility can accommodate up to three container ships carrying 14,000 TEUs. The container terminal is in the Middle Harbor with berths 22-26. The wharf frontage is 4,200 linear feet with a water depth of 55 feet. The facility has 14 cranes, with plans to add another four ship-to-shore cranes. The terminal averages 1.1 million TEUs per year with a projected capacity of 3.3 TEUs when the terminal occupies its full 304 acres. Located on Pier E, LBCT has 2,250 reefer plugs and on-dock rail service.

- Entrance Requirements
- Individual: Trucks to be equipped with Truck Tags in order to gain access to the terminals
