Facility Overview

Pierce County Terminal is located at the Port of Tacoma in Pierce County, Washington. It occupies 184 acres, with 23,544 feet of working on-dock rail track. The facility is located 2.5 miles from the north-south I-5 corridor and 30 miles from the east-west I-90 interstate. The terminal can support 14,000 TEU vessels with a draught of less than 51 feet. It has 2,087 linear feet of berthing space and two berths. Seven post-Panamax cranes are available for moving containers. The space has 654 reefer plugs. The terminal serves the Evergreen Line with direct shipments to Asia.
