Facility Overview
The Everport container terminal, also known as the Ben E. Nutter terminal, occupies 58 acres of land on the Outer Harbor in the Port of Oakland in northern California. Everport operates three berths (35, 37-38) for 2,157 linear feet of berth space. The water depth is 50 feet. The terminal operators have three all-electric cranes to reduce emissions in the San Francisco Bay. The port’s primary trade partner is Asia, with 75% of cargo coming from that region. The terminal is adjacent to 40 acres that could be used to increase TEUs to over 400,000. (See Ben E. Nutter Terminal.)
