Facility Overview
North Carolina’s Charlotte Inland Port connects seaports to the interior. It connects to the I-85 and I-77 corridors while providing ten acres of container storage. It also has a maintenance and repair service for containers traveling from Ports Wilmington and Morehead City. The inland port occupies 20 acres, with ten still undeveloped. The facility can accommodate 2,000 containers to serve as a staging area for cargo coming from or going to seaports. The port also has access to the CXS Transportation railway.

- Entrance Requirements
- Individual: The requirements and processes for motor carriers doing business at Inland Port Greer are essentially the same as in Charleston, except TWICs are not required
- Vehicles: Cargo may move under the ocean carrier’s bond to Greer where it remains until a subsequent transaction
