Facility Overview
The Port of Los Angeles is home to two West Basin Container Terminals (WBCT). The two terminals occupy 318 acres of land and have 16 berths. The water depth ranges from 45 to 53 feet. Containers are loaded and unloaded using 15 post-Panamax cranes. The WBCT has on-dock rail capabilities and offers maintenance and repair. The basin is one of seven container terminals that process an average of 1.7 million TEUs per year for the Port of Los Angeles.
