Facility Overview
Trapac is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K. that operates two terminals on the West Coast of the United States. The Trapac Container Terminal at the Port of Los Angeles is a 220-acre facility near the West Basin and averages 1.6 million TEUs per year. - Entrance Requirements
- Individual: Before entering our property, all trucks must be enrolled in the Port Drayage Truck Registry and obtain a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag. Our gates are equipped with RFID tag readers to ensure that only approved trucks gain access, as well as to verify that all trucks comply with current safety and environmental requirements.
- Vehicles: “All drivers must have in their possession a valid driver’s license , TWIC, current vehicle registration and proof of insurance ready for examination upon demand by security and/or law enforcement.
