Facility Overview
Terminal Island has six container terminals. Four terminals are located in the Port of Los Angeles. The remaining two are part of the Port of Long Beach. The US Coast Guard and a low-security federal correction institution are located on the island. The remaining land on the 2,854 acre island is owned by the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Total Terminals International operates Pier T, located on the east side of the island in the Port of Long Beach.
