Facility Overview
Oakland International Container Terminal (OICT) occupies 434 acres in the Port of Oakland’s inner harbor. It has five berths. Berths 55 and 56 have a frontage of 2,400 linear feet and a water depth of 50 feet with 605 reefer plugs. Berths 57-59 have a frontage of 3,600 linear feet with a water depth of 50 feet with 898 reefer plugs. Berths 55–59 share ten post-Panamax cranes. From its inner harbor location, it has ready access to both rail and ground transportation.
