Facility Overview
APM has functioned as an independent subsidiary of MAERSK, a Danish logistics company, since 2001. APM operates 65 terminals worldwide with a total capacity of over four million TEUs. In the United States, APM Terminals operates Pier 400 at the Port of Los Angeles and the South Florida Container Terminal at the Port of Miami. - Individual: An authorization pass QR code to be shown at TWIC check. This can be generated on completion of our safety induction in the “Visitor HSSE” app. A TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). All drivers need to provide a SCAC Code to initiate a transaction. “Trucker Codes” are no longer in use.
- Vehicles: Each truck will need to be registered with the Truck Tag program . Truck RFID tags for installation on the truck are issued by PierPass . Each truck will be required to have a valid license plate linked to the RFID tag.
